How To Order
All cakes and cookies from The Frostery are available on a made-to-order basis and can be customised to suit your individual requirements. Suzanne is happy to advise with regards to choice of colours, flavour combinations, shapes and sizes. To arrange a consultation or to place an order please contact The Frostery on 01457 778111 or e-mail Suzanne@thefrostery.co.uk.

Should you wish to commission a design for your wedding, please contact us to arrange a personal consultation at The Frostery in Uppermill, Saddleworth. All of our cakes are made-to-order and any design from our collection can be customised to your specifications. Delivery & Collection
Wedding & celebration cakes
As part of our service we may offer personal delivery and set-up, however, this service is strictly limited and advance booking is essential. Our delivery service will be charged on an hourly basis and is determined by the travel distance and the time and labour required for assembling the cake. Prices are available on request; please contact us for a quotation. Commissioning a cake from us does not guarantee delivery.
Cookie favours
Cookies can be delivered within a limited geographical area. Prices are available on request; please contact us for a quotation.
Collection
If you wish to collect your order from The Frostery, we will provide you with transport, assembly and storage instructions where required. Please note that once collected, the full responsibility for the safety of the order is with the customer and we are not liable for any damages thereafter.
Cake Stand Hire
We offer a variety of cake stands for hire. Please note that cake stands are only available if ordered with a cake and need to be returned to us on the agreed return date after your event. Alternatively we may offer a collection service from your venue. For more details on prices and designs, please contact us.
Lead Times
We will always try to accommodate all orders; however, in order to provide you with the best service possible, we require sufficient time to design and process your commission. The following lead-times are therefore recommended:
For Celebration Cakes and Cookie Favours – 1 month
For Wedding Cakes - 3 to 6 months
Bookings are taken on a first-come, first-served basis and we recommend placing your order as early as possible. You can reserve your date with a £100 non-refundable holding deposit and decide on your design at a later date.
Payment
Payment and deposits
A 10% non-refundable deposit (subject to a minimum of £50) is required on order confirmation. The balance is payable 4 weeks before completion. For orders with less than 4 weeks notice, the full payment is required on confirmation and is non-refundable. Payment can be made by BACS transfer, credit or debit card, cheque or cash.
Alterations
Where possible we will accommodate any changes you wish to make to your order and charge you for any additional costs incurred. As wedding cakes require longer lead-times we ask that changes are made no less than 4 weeks prior to completion.
Cancellations
Please note that the holding/confirmation deposit is non-refundable and any specifically ordered items and work already undertaken in accordance with your order is additionally chargeable. For wedding cake orders cancelled within 4 weeks of the completion date, the full balance will be charged.
Master-classes
Full payment is required in advance to secure a place at one of our master-classes. This payment is non-refundable for cancellations within 4 weeks of the date of the class. Cancellations giving more than 4 weeks notice will receive a full refund less an administration charge of £5.
